At present, no other jobs are said to be at risk.

Sandbank Advance Unit Construction (ARG 2008/00617)
This paper was originally presented to Management Team on the 29 September 2008 and the Management Team approved funding of £990,000 from the Argyll & the
Islands area office budget to enable construction of a 370m2 advance build unit based on a design from the HIE portfolio with a view to progressing discussions with the prospective tenant, Argyll Telecom. This paper requested additional funding of £510,000 for fit-out costs; £100,000 for changes to the base building at HIE’s cost, which will attract additional rental income, and up to £410,000 to meet the requirements of Argyll Telecom. The works for Argyll Telecom are primarily to ensure that the ARC (alarm receiving centre) met the specialist security requirements of the industry, and the centre would be the first of its kind in Scotland. Following discussion, the Management Team approved an increase to the original approval from £900,000 to £1.5m subject to details of the recovery mechanisms for the tenant’s contribution of £410,000 being agreed and reported back to Management
Team.
